How To Not Act Cool

The urge to write a blog never really pops up in my head. Sometimes I’m up for it, other times, not so much. Today is one of the latter but seeing as I haven’t written a blog in so long, I might as well do one anyway!

The past few days have been relatively eventful. Last week on Saturday, I went to a friend’s house for a party. That was fun and I met some cool people there and I got to spend time with Ellie which always an added bonus! About 10 minutes after I arrived with my best friend, my eyes caught a glimpse of a group of people who were about 17 or 18 acting “well’ard”.

One of the boys of the group leaned out of the window and shouted down to us “Oi, mate! Turn that fuckin’ music down! We’re trying to fuckin’ sleep!”

Being a fearless, comedian I decided to inform them that it was 6:15 in the afternoon…

They weren’t impressed with my antics… Everyone else there was though so I found it a minor victory!

After we turned the music down a fraction, they came outside and started playing football doing all sorts of ‘skills and frills’. I’m sure they meant “thrills” but they were very common. ‘Skills and frills’ is not in speech marks, but however in inverted commas, due to the fact that one of them actually said ‘Oi mate, check out my skills and frills!’ at his friend…

About ten minutes had past when their football came over the fence and into the garden where we were. It hit the top of the greenhouse and landed next to me.

As it was heading for the greenhouse everyone looked on thinking that it is going to smash. It was one of the moments in life that happened in slow motion it was that tense!

It was only when the ball landed next to me when we realised that the ball would have to hit the greenhouse very hard for it to smash, as they weren’t playing with a football, they were playing with one of those bouncy footballs that you win at fêtes if you kick the ball in the hole five thousand times in a row without being electrocuted or something similar to that.

Not only was it not a real football but it had Lightning McQueen from Cars plastered all over it!

They subsequently lost whatever fear they struck into anybody’s heart….

Last night was prom and I had a really good time.

No major drama happened except for two of my friends falling out then becoming friends again and being all lovely with each other which was nice, the limo that took us to our destination was the wrong one and so the person who organised it had a go at the driver and got upset so me and my friend dealt with the problems at hand, another limo containing 24 people broke down not even halfway between the destination and the start point and our limo took 25 minutes to get to the place we needed to be instead of the expected 1 hour which was greatly annoying as we were painfully early and no one was there and we still had to pay the full price. Apart from that, there was nothing major that happened. Ellie was there and she looked stunning and we had our photo taken which was nice and then the guy made us kiss which wasn’t at all awkward.

Bracket slash sarcasm close bracket.

And that has been the week of my life when things have happened in it…

Makes a nice change!

See you in the future
